The Election: What It All Comes Down To – Part 4
In the leadup to the election, we are looking at what the outcome will come down to. At the macro level, this election will come down to liberty versus tyranny. Uninformed people think that statement is hyperbole. Those who see the realities in play know that it is not overstated. In part 1 of this series, the case was presented that the future of our freedom is on the ballot in this election like never before.
At the micro level, one issue stands out above all others in importance. That issue is secure borders versus open borders. It is the most important of all the issues because it bleeds over into all the other issues: the economy, jobs, crime, the threat of terrorism, and the trafficking of drugs and women and children into the country. It even impacts the macro issue of liberty versus tyranny, because as Elon Musk has pointed out, four more years under the current Marxist Democrat regime, and there will be no more swing states. All the swing states will be turned solid blue (Marxist Democrat) by illegal immigrants who will be brought into the country and fast-tracked to citizenship and given the right to vote. A thorough overview of the border issue was presented in part 2 and part 3 of this series.
This week our attention turns to the one issue on which many people are basing their decision about who to vote for, or about whether to vote at all. That issue is a person: Donald Trump.
It All Comes Down to Discernment versus Derangement About Donald Trump
Many have well said about Donald Trump that he is one of the most hated men in American history, and, at the same time, one of the most beloved. Many people understand him, love him, and would crawl over hot coals to vote for him. Others, however, exhibit a deranged, unexplainable, unwarranted hatred for the man. How can so many people look at the same person, and come to such opposite conclusions? It’s one thing to not like someone – to not like their personality or some of their personal traits like their appearance or their voice. But the amount of vitriol directed at former President Trump is inexplicable, both in its quantity and intensity. How can it be explained? In two words: the media.
The Marxist Media, (sometimes referred to as the mainstream, corporate, legacy, or establishment media), has a bias against President Trump like no other political figure in history. They have become the propaganda arm of the Marxist Democrat Party. Whatever narrative the leadership of the party wants presented, the Marxist Media jumps on board with a full-court press. They reveal themselves as non-journalists day after day. They advocate for the Marxist Democrats and are antagonistic toward Republicans. This has been especially true of Donald Trump. Their bias against him has been off the charts1. To make matters worse, much of their coverage is nothing but lies. They have no journalistic ethics – no regard for the truth or for facts. Oftentimes, their bias is revealed as much by what they refuse to cover as it is by what they choose to cover2. The Marxist Media is a major threat to our freedom, but they are not the greatest threat. The unengaged and uninformed masses in this country who buy their lies, the people the Marxist Media prey on – they are the major threat to our freedom!
The Bible says that satan is the “father of lies” (John 8:44). The Marxist Media is of its father, the devil. So much so, that if you are watching any of their news coverage or “stories” at any given moment, you are almost certainly being lied to. To truly be informed, you must look to alternative sources for your news. Again, this is especially true when it comes to Donald Trump. The media lies that have been told against him are endless. Here are just a few examples:
- He called a group of white supremacists at Charlottesville “good people”. He did just the opposite. Only someone who refuses to see and hear the truth would believe this lie.
- He called for an insurrection on January 6th. Again, he did just the opposite. He encouraged those listening to his speech to “peacefully and patriotically” protest. Two days earlier he had offered 10,000 National Guardsmen to protect the capital, which Nancy Pelosi refused.
- He colluded with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election. It was proven to be a lie!
Some of the lies told against Trump are so preposterous that just a moment of sober thought and reflection would help a discerning person see through them. For example:
- No one speaking with military leaders present would call fallen soldiers “losers”.
- A public figure like Trump wouldn’t go into a department store in New York and sexually assault a woman in a changing room during business hours3. He had no need to do that!
- The October surprise story (lie): He’s too smart to praise Hitler or his generals in any way.
- The latest lie: He is holding the rally Sunday night in Madison Square Garden in New York to mirror a rally held by Nazis in the 1930s. You’d have to be deranged to believe that!
And that’s what many people in this country are when it comes to Donald Trump. They are deranged! They have TDS – Trump Derangement Syndrome. No one in their right mind would believe the preposterous lies told about him by the Marxist Democrats and Marxist Media. But that’s who Marxists are. You’d have to be deranged to want Marxism instead liberty, open borders instead of national security, more of the inflationary policies of the last four years, and Kamala Harris simply because she’s not Trump. That’s what this election will come down to. Who is discerning and who is deranged? So, pray that God will give discernment to enough voters.

2 A recent example of this is how the Marxist Media covered up the cognitive decline of Joe Biden for years until it became useful for the Marxist Democrats to have it revealed. Then the Marxist Media turned on a dime without blushing.
